UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tim Sylvia, is best known for his heavy hands, having knocked out former champion, Ricco Rodriguez to capture the title and then 6; 11" giant, Gan McGee in his first defense. After some setbacks, including a submission loss to Arlovski, Sylvia was able to regain his title last April by knocking out Arlovski in the first round of their rematch.

Now, Tim is looking to prove that knockout was not a fluke and that he is the rightful owner of the UFC Heavyweight belt.

Former champion, Andrei Arlovski is angry. He was seemingly on his way to a second victory over Tim Sylvia and another successful title defense. Arlovski knocked Sylvia down with a hard right hand early in the first round of their April 15th fight. Andrei dove in, perhaps overly agressive, and Sylvia caught him with the knockout punch in the ensuing scramble. Just like that, the Heavyweight Championship Belt was yanked from Arlovski's grasp.

On July 8,m the Pit Bull will stop at nothing to get the title back around his waist.
