RICH FRANKLIN In his 22 professional fights, UFC Middleweight Champion, Rich Franklin has never gone the distance. He has one of the highest finishing percentages in the sport. Franklin won the belt in June 2005 with a TKO victory over then-champion, Evan Tanner in the fourth round. After serving as a coach on the second season of The Ultimate Fighter™, Franklin made his first title defense at UFC 56 in November 2005. He knocked out highly-touted Nate Quarry in just over 2 minutes. On March 4, Franklin leads Team USA into battle and hopes to add another knockout to his record. |
