FIGHT FACTS

It is a fight three years in the making. Tito Ortiz and Vitor Belfort finally square off in the Octagon on February 5. The bout was originally supposed to happen in September 2001, but was called off due to a training injury suffered by Belfort just two weeks prior to the fight. The two warriors were again scheduled to fight in March 2002, but Ortiz suffered a devastating knee injury that kept him sidelined for eight months.

Both men are former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions, and are hungry to get the belt back around their waists.

Two title fights highlight the undercard as Tim Sylvia meets Andrei Arlovski for the Interim Heavyweight Championship and David Terrell meets Evan Tanner for the Middleweight Championship.
