WHO IS BRUCE PAISLEY?

Bruce Paisley is authorized by us to distribute events sub-licensed to Canadastar Boxing Inc. in the Provinces of British Columbia, Yukon and Saskatchewan.

WHO IS HENRI SPITZER?

Henri Spitzer is authorized by us to distribute events sub-licensed to Canadastar Boxing Inc. in the Province of Quebec.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF ORDERING CLOSED CIRCUIT EVENTS FROM CANADASTAR?

  • Developing a regular clientele for boxing matches or UFC events or both. Such a clientele is not developed overnight; it is built on consistency. You pick and choose which events you carry, but developing a regular "boxing" crowd (for example) will be much more difficult if you only occasionally show boxing events.
  • You have the legal right to broadcast the event in your establishment.
  • You will be able to advertise the event for your location. We provide you with advertising materials and promotional material support from our private members area.
  • We arrange with your satellite provider to authorize and pretest your system.
  • We list the licensed locations for each of our events on our website.
  • Our links page is expanding to include the websites of our bar and restaurant network.

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR CLOSED CIRCUIT-PAY PER VIEW EVENTS IN MY CANADIAN COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENT?

License fee prices vary based on pricing set by the rightsholders. Boxing license fees vary from bout to bout, from flat rates to a price per seat based on licensed seating capacity. Contact us for pricing enquiries, and be sure to let us know which event(s) you are enquiring about.

Additionally, administration/technical fees are invoiced to the commercial locations by your signal carrier, i.e. Star Choice, Bell ExpressVu and cable companies.

WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THESE EVENTS IN MY CANADIAN COMMERCIAL LOCATION?

You will require either::

  • Star Choice
  • Bell ExpressVu
  • Digital Cable Box

CAN'T I ORDER THE EVENT FROM STAR CHOICE OR BELL EXPRESSVU DIRECT?

We are licensed by the rightsholder to distribute events to Canadian commercial establishments. Star Choice, Bell ExpressVu and cable companies are licensed by the righsholder to distribute events residentially.

HOW DO I ORDER A SPECIAL EVENT FOR MY LOCATION?

The easiest and most efficient way is to call us directly. We will then send you a contract and invoice and advertising materials.

WHAT IS THE LATEST I CAN ORDER AN EVENT?

We are not a residential ppv service. Contracts, invoices, marketing materials, and pretest information needs to be sent to you. Book early to have more time for advertising. Cutoff dates are normally one week prior to the event.

HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT I WILL BE AUTHORIZED?

Star Choice and Bell ExpressVu customers will receive approximately 4 days before the event pretest information. Follow the instructions to ensure your system is authorized. Do not wait until event time to pretest and discover you are not authorized - it may be too late! Don't risk your reliability and reputation and find your customers leaving to go elsewhere.

WHY DO I NEED A LICENSE TO BROADCAST THE EVENT IN MY ESTABLISHMENT?

These special events are protected by international copyright law. We and/or the rightsholders use investigators to look for establishments broadcasting our events without a license.
