PACMAN RETIRES BARRERA
Too big, too strong, too fast and too young. All these contributed to a lopsided 12-round decision in favour of Manny Pacquiao over aging legend, Marco Antonio Barrera.
Though the Philipino swept most of the rounds, the fight was competitive, but in the end, it was the old saying "youth over age".
Over 10,000 fans witnessed Pacquiao's speed and aggression over the counter-punching Barrera, who appeared looking for the one big punch that never came.
Barrera officially announced his retirement after the fight, and the former 3-time champ retires with a 63-6 (42 KO's) record.
Pacquiao, who improved to 45-3-2 (35 KO's) hinted he may now move up to the lightweight division, as making the super featherweight division limit of 130 lbs. is just too difficult.
