PACQUIAO KO'S SOLIS
Manny Pacquiao proved once again that he is boxing's most exciting fighter, as he knocked out previously unbeaten, Jorge Solis, now 32-1, in the 8th round out of a scheduled 12.
Pacquiao (44-3, 34 KO's) had some early problems trying to figure out the somewhat awkward challenger but stepped on the gas pedal after an accidental head butt opened a cut over his left eyebrow in the 6th round.
The Phillipino powerhouse simply over-powered Solis in the 7th and 8th round and the referee counted the final 10-count after the 2nd knockdown in the round, compliments of a combination of a Pacquiao left-right combo.
Almost 15,000 paid attendance witnessed a great night of action and went home with full value for their money spent.
