Mayweather Wins Welter Title
A very composed first round by both fighters. Judah landed the only good punch of the round, a straight left which may have given him the round.
A more active second round with Judah landing more with body shots and jabs. Another Judah round.
The third round is close but Judah poses too much and Mayweather ekes out the round.
An exciting fourth as Judah punishes Mayweather to head and body and takes the round. Judah has built up a 3-1 lead in rounds on our scorecard.
Mayweather takes the fifth round although Judah rallies in last ten seconds. However, it is too little, too late.
Mayweather picks up the pace and wins the sixth round handily with superior boxing and hard hooks to the head and body. Fight is all even after six rounds.
Floyd takes the seventh as Judah isn't letting his hands go as often, and Mayweather landed some terrific power shots in the round.
A closer eighth round, but Mayweather ekes it out again, mainly because Judah is posing too much and not throwing punches.
The ninth is a very good round for Floyd and he is dominating the fight at this point. An absolute riot ensues after Judah hits Mayweather low and then rabbit punches Mayweather in a blatant foul. Mayweather's trainers jumped into the ring and the ring is filled with handlers and police. Mayweather's trainer is kicked out of the fight.
Mayweather wins the tenth easily and is in full control at this point. Judah seems to just be happy to survive and loses the round.
Judah takes the final round as Floyd is just happy to last out the round.
Our card has Mayweather winning 116 - 112. With the win, Floyd Mayweather is the new IBF Welterweight Champion, thus winning his fourth world championship in four different weight divisions.
